Videos and DVDs
All three episodes of the docudrama narrated by Juliet Stevenson which explores the life of novelist Jane Austen. At the age of 17, Austen began writing her own stories and later rejected a marriage proposal that brought with it the promise of financial stability. Despite the hardships she faced, she was determined to live her life on her own terms and completed multiple novels before the age of 22. However, none of them were published until she was 35 and they brought her little fame or success before her death at the age of 41. Dramatic reconstructions feature alongside interviews with academics, novelists and actors.
