In 2005 'What's the Story?' began - a competition that offers Secondary pupils across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire a chance to get into print. Our emotions, our instincts and our sharing stories make us human. Inspired by the theme Lost for Words, the powerful imaginations of these young authors take us to the edge of cliffs, comfort, reason and humanity. This is the seventh short story anthology from Word Firsts, a publisher determined to stimulate and celebrate the literary talents of the young.
