This is a story about two unique chairs. The chairs were conceived, designed and brought to life in Canada; when completed they were flown to Scotland to become important elements in the everyday life of a historic educational institution once attended by the very former pupils who provided the means of bringing the chairs to life. The chairs themselves have historic connections for they complement and complete a family of platform furniture contributed by former pupils over nine decades as expressions of recurring appreciation for their school.
