Books, Manuscripts
"The bi-centenary of the completion of the roads made in Scotland by Field-Marshall George Wade falls this year. In 1733 was completed the Tay Bridge at Aberfeldy which Wade considered the "crown" of his road-making. Below appears the first of a series of articles dealing with Wade and his work in Scotland. In these articles the Wade roads will be described as they are to-day."
