Sara Driver directs this US documentary which looks at the younger years of renowned New York artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. Born in Brooklyn, Basquiat first gained notoriety as part of a graffiti duo in Manhattan before going on to establish himself as one of the major names in the 1980's New York art scene. The film features contributions from friends and fellow artists such as Jim Jarmusch, Fab 5 Freddy and Nan Goldin.
