Summary

Thomas J. Cooper is ex-military and works as a high-asset recovery investigator. Traumatised by the supposed death of his girlfriend whilst fighting Somalian pirates at sea, Cooper is convinced Ellie is still alive and won't rest until he finds the truth - which doesn't exactly help his marriage to his colleague Maddie. Now he and Maddie are thrown into a non-stop adventure as they are sent to the Democratic Republic of Congo to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a plane.
