John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson star in this sci-fi horror based on the novel by Stephen King. When a mysterious cell phone signal turns humans into vicious zombie-like creatures New England artist Clay Riddell (Cusack) teams up with some of his fellow survivors to stop the broadcast and find his son. After the electronic pulse turns every Boston mobile phone user into raging monsters, Clay heads north through the apocalyptic landscape in search of his ex-wife and son with a group including his neighbour Alice (Isabelle Fuhrman), train driver Tom McCourt (Jackson) and schoolboy Jordan (Owen Teague).
