Animated adventure featuring the voices of Susan Sarandon and Paul Giamatti. The story takes place in France in 1941 and for the past 70 years scientists have been inexplicably vanishing. This has resulted in a lack of modern-day inventions, meaning the country has been limited to burning coal and wood for energy - but sources are now dwindling. Teenager April (Angela Galuppo)'s parents are among those who have gone missing and, along with her talking cat Darwin (Tony Hale), her grandfather Pops (Tony Robinow) and new ally Julius (Tod Fennell), she goes on a dangerous journey to find them, unveiling some mysteries on the way.
