Family-centred TV mini series. Asked to take his grandfather Old Pete Chasing Horse (August Schellenberg) to a storytelling powwow in Sante Fe, teenager Shane Chasing Horse (Eddie Spears) jumps at the chance, mainly because he owes money to some local gangsters. As they journey across the wilds of South Dakota, Old Pete begins to tell his grandson some of his stories about the Lakota legends of old.
