Animated adaptation of the best-selling novel by Richard Adams. When rabbit Fiver (voice of Richard Briers) has a premonition of his warren being destroyed, he persuades his brother Hazel (John Hurt) and a few of their friends to flee in search of safety. However, their journey to find a new home will not be easy and they will have to evade predators and outwit a group of vicious rabbits called the Efrafans if they are to survive. The voice cast also includes Roy Kinnear, Denholm Elliott and Terence Rigby.
