Channel 4's three-part biography of the artist Pablo Picasso. 'Magic' covers the years 1881 to 1914 and tells of Picasso's childhood in Spain and his first great achievements as an artist in Paris. 'Sex' tells the artist's story from 1914 through to 1938 and focuses on the impact of sex on his work. 'Death' charts Picasso's life from 1938 through to his death in 1973 and examines his on-going obsession with death. The series is presented by the artist's friend and biographer John Richardson.
