Michael Winner directs this action drama based on the novel by Brian Garfield. Mild-mannered New York architect Paul Kersey (Charles Bronson) takes the law into his own hands after his wife is murdered and his daughter raped by a gang of thugs. Kersey now stalks the streets, determined to bring his wife's killers to justice and eradicate all criminal lowlife. The cast also includes Vincent Gardenia, Hope Lange and William Redfield.
