Two episodes from the Seventies BBC sci-fi series about an incorruptible organisation - The Doomwatch - which oversees potentially hazardous scientific research. In 'The Plastic Eaters' the team attempt to deal with an infectious man-made virus which has the power to dissolve plastic. 'Tomorrow, The Rat' sees the team investigate a series of experiments which have produced deadly genetically-engineered rodents.
