Michael Caine returns as veteran spy Harry Palmer. When Harry and his partner Nick (Jason Connery) investigate the disappearance of Nick's girlfriend, they discover a conspiracy involving the Russian Mafia and enough stolen plutonium to fuel three atomic bombs. Soon Nick is missing as well, and Harry is caught in a desperate race against time.
