Romy (Mira Sorvino) and Michele (Lisa Kudrow) are flatmates with nowhere jobs who learn of a reunion at their high school from former misfit classmate Heather (Janeane Garofalo), now wealthy and successful. They decide to attend, masquerading as the inventors of Post-It notes in the belief that this will make them seem as successful as Heather. In the meantime, they cannot help but hark back to their carefree college days.
