Josh Hartnett stars in this Hong Kong-set psychological thriller. Kline (Hartnett) is a former Los Angeles cop who left the police force under a cloud after a disturbing encounter with a notorious serial killer. Now working as a private detective, Kline travels to Hong Kong to investigate the disappearance of Shitao (Takuya Kimura), the missing son of a pharmaceutical billionaire. His journey takes him into the dark heart of Hong Kong's gangland, where every corner he turns seems to bring back another memory of the horrors he travelled so far to forget.
