Five seasonal animated escapades with the yellow-skinned inhabitants of Springfield. In 'Simpsons Roasting On an Open Fire' (1989) Homer manages to fail as a department store Santa but comes up trumps with a Christmas gift for all the family. In 'Mr Plow' (1992) Homer's new snow-plow business has a rival and it is run by his best friend Barney. In 'Miracle on Evergreen Terrace' (1997) Bart lies about the burning down of the family's Christmas tree. 'Grift of the Magi' (1999) sees Bart wheelchair-bound and the school having to raise money to build a ramp. Whilst in 'She of Little Faith' (2001) father and son Simpson accidentally burn down the local church and Lisa becomes a Buddhist when the church sells advertising space in a bid to raise money for the re-build.
