Summary:
The entire first series of the BBC comedy following the campaign trail of prospective Scottish MP and shameless self-publicist Bob Servant (Brian Cox). With the unexpected death of its sitting MP, the Dundonian suburb of Broughty Ferry finds itself in the grip of by-election fever. Determined to seize his chance, Bob, the former window cleaner and key player in Dundee's Cheeseburger Wars of the 1980s, embarks on a relentless round of publicity aided by campaign manager Frank (Jonathan Watson), with the sole aim of forcing his way into the hearts and minds of the locals - whether they like it or not.
